Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle Project

Document

This project is aimed at demonstrating the feasability of parking stations for electric cars eg. at train stations, where the facility not only charges the commuters' cars but also puts power back into the electricity grid during peak demand.

This can reduce the need for building more power stations just to handle the peaks in supply and also greatly assist the storage requirements of renewable power generation.

As the car owners also get paid for supplying electricity at crucial times this can help with the affordability and uptake of electric cars.

Please see the Document for more details.
